I’ve been working in the insurance industry for more than two decades. I began my career as a claims adjuster in 1984. In 1990, I began Allstate’s Sales Management Training program and worked as a District Sales Manager until 1996. In 1996 I entered the Allstate Exclusive Agency program and started the Nix Insurance agency.

I’ve been fortunate to win several awards over the years:

  • Claims Representative of the Year (countrywide award) – 1988
  • District of the Year (statewide award) – 1994
  • Allstate Key Manager – 4 years
  • Allstate National Conference – 6 years
  • Allstate Honor Ring – 6 years
  • Life Millionaire – 4 years

I am licensed by the state of Oklahoma as an Agent and Adjuster, and have the Series 6 and 63 licenses required by the NASD to make securities transactions. In 1995, I attained the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, which is the highest designation available in the property and casualty insurance industry.

My wife, Cheryl, and I have two great kids – a daughter who attends Edmond public schools and a son in college. My interests outside of work are spending time with my wife and kids, being active in my church, tennis, fishing, golf, and anything that is outdoors – even yard work!

peggywilkersonABOUT PEGGY WILKERSON

My strength as a Personal Financial Representative comes from having over 18 years experience in the financial services industry. With my experience and training, I’m able to help my customers define and achieve their financial goals.

I’m a graduate of Bryn Mawr College with honors in Economics. I began my career in insurance and also worked for a Wall Street firm for 11 years. In 2007, I joined the Allstate team here in the Oklahoma City metro.

Last year, my commitment to my customers earned me membership in the industry-wide Million Dollar Round Table. As a member of the U.S. Pony Club, I’m active in doing good things for youth. I reside in Oklahoma City with my husband and many animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I am active in the U.S. Eventing Association and Oklahoma Eventers.

Janet is a licensed Property and Casualty agent and has been employed in the agency for over 20 years. . Janet answers most incoming calls, processes most policy changes, prepares new business proposals and manages a ton of other things that are critical to the agency’s success.

I’ve been working as an agent with Allstate since 2004. I am licensed in the areas of Property & Casualty and Life & Health.

Originally from Dallas, TX, I attended St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, OK on a soccer scholarship in 1998. While there, I met my wife, Amanda, and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 2002.

Amanda and I live in the NW Oklahoma City area with our dog, Sammie, and cat, Roxie. I enjoy playing and watching all sports, going to the gym, spending time with friends, and visiting Dallas when I have the opportunity. You might find Amanda and me at my favorite restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, from time-to-time.
